Online Table Requests
Our website provides an option to request a table for Afternoon Tea or for food and drinks. When requesting a table, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
An online table request is not to be considered an accepted booking until confirmed to you by Tearoom staff via email.
Please ensure that requests for Afternoon Tea are made at least 48 hours in advance of when you would like to visit.
Table requests for Afternoon Tea or for parties of 6 people and above will require a deposit of £5 per adult in advance of confirmation.
Deposits for Afternoon Tea
After requesting a table for Afternoon Tea, you will be sent an email by Tearoom staff requesting a £5 deposit per adult in advance of your booking. This deposit will be paid online via debit or credit card and deducted from the total cost of your bill. No table request for Afternoon Tea will be confirmed until a deposit is made.
If no deposit is made, then your table request for Afternoon Tea will not be confirmed and should not be considered an accepted booking.
If you do not attend your table booking and no notice is given, then your deposit will be considered non-transferrable and non-refundable and will be retained by the Tearoom against the cost of purchased supplies.
Deposits for parties for 6 people and above
If you request a table for parties of 6 people or above , you will be sent an email by Tearoom staff requesting a £5 deposit per adult in advance of your booking. This deposit will be paid online via debit or credit card and deducted from the total cost of your bill. No table request will be confirmed until a deposit is made.
If no deposit is made, then your table request will not be confirmed and should not be considered an accepted booking.
If you have to cancel or do not attend your table booking then your deposit will be considered non-transferrable and non-refundable and will be retained by the Tearoom against the cost of purchased supplies.
Cancelling a Confirmed Booking
If you must cancel a confirmed booking , please do so via email to tearoom@bedsrcc.org.uk. Any deposit will be considered non-transferrable and non-refundable and will be retained by the Tearoom against the cost of purchased supplies.
