Coming by train
There is an hourly service Monday – Saturday running between 05:17 & 21:45 from Bletchley (21:32 on Saturdays) and 06:10 & 22:38 from Bedford (06:15 & 22:19 on Saturdays).
17 trains run daily in each direction on a largely clockface timetable.
There are no services on Sundays. Services usually operate on Bank Holidays except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Services are unlikely to operate when industrial action is taking place on the London Northwestern Railway network. Please see the National Rail website.
Change at Bletchley for services to Milton Keynes Central, Northampton, Birmingham New Street, Leighton Buzzard, Watford Junction & London Euston. Change at Bedford for services to Luton, St Albans, London St Pancras International, Brighton, Kettering, Leicester & Nottingham.
Take the train to Ridgmont, enjoy a guided tour of the Museum and tea & cake in the Tea Room, and buy a souvenir of your visit from the Gift Shop (wide range of cards & locally sourced items available).
Please note Museum opening is subject to volunteer availability – please call 01525 287121 in advance if you are making a special journey.
Rail tickets can be purchased from the conductor on the train by cash or card. Tickets can also be purchased from any staffed rail station by cash or card or the Ticket Vending Machine (TVM) at each Marston Vale Line station (card only). Tickets can be purchased online via the London Northwestern Railway - Ticket Types website page.
Tickets purchased online can be collected at staffed station or any TVM.
Railcard holders travel for a third off and Bedfordshire Bus Pass discounts travel for half price travel after 10:00 on weekdays and all day on Saturday & Bank Holidays.
Groups of 3 - 9 adults travel for a third off with GroupSave.

Coming by car

Conveniently located just off J13 of the M1. Follow brown signs from A507 and Bedford Road after the M1.
The building has its own car park (height restriction 2.1m / 6′ 10″) on the opposite side of the railway line. Disabled parking is available outside the Heritage Centre.
Coming by bus
Hop on the regular 34 Grant Palmer bus from Flitwick & Ampthill - it stops right outside the Heritage Centre!
Coming by bike
There are two cycle racks in the Courtyard Garden which visitors are welcome to use.

There are a variety of circular and linear walks starting from the Heritage Centre.
